A peek inside our classroom...
We ended our school year with “Camp Learned-A-Lot.” It was a fun way to review and share all of our great memories from the year.
2nd and 3rd grade field trip to Pine Crest Village.
Catholic School's Week was so much fun- PJ Bowling, family rollerskating, Special Person Day and so much more!
Last week (1/15/18) we had some fun in math and science reviewing shapes, money, and matter. We played GEOMETRY- (Mrs. Lawman's version of shape BINGO.) We also made root beer floats to review matter. (solid-ice cream+ liquid- root beer= gas- bubbly root beer floats!) They were a big hit!
Below are some fun moments captured from our Pilgrim Day. We tried pilgrim school where we practiced writing with blueberry ink and feathers in our very own horn book. We tried our hand at story telling through traditional Native American drawings on an "animal hide." We even churned cream to make butter to try "johnny cake"- a pilgrim favorite made with corn.
Math made fun with a hands on activity involving place value!
